Some crucial decisions we take have the Ability to change our lives forever. One thing that can actually take you far in Life is heeding to the Advice of people that know better than you, or that are in a better understanding and position than you are
Whether you got the advice from your parents (Who are actually your first hand adviser or Guardian). Or Family and Friends. Or Sometimes it can be total strangers.
I have been a person that have been Guided, and i am always ready to be corrected and Advised. Not just people Ahead of Me, i listen to advice from my staffs and workers too, this has made many things easier for me in my Business.
I would be sharing a real life events of how i got My first Job and business here in Benue.
The Advice that really changed my financial Status
It all started during my National Youth service Corp (Nysc), i was posted in Benue, as an hustler, i was doing some extra work apart from teaching, i was also engaging in Private lessons and Orange business. One of My friend , His Name is bayo came to my apartment, and we were discussing about possible business opportunities that can be done here in Benue State. We came up with a lot of Ideas but the one that caught my attention is starting an Agent Banking Business, popularly known as POS Business in Benue Nigeria.
This was a very great idea for me because as of then, there were no banks around the place i was staying and the distance to the bank is far, it will take you nothing less than 2hours thirty minutes to reach the Available Banks. Very luckily then in the compound i was staying, there were two Brothers Doing the POS Business, so we met him for advice and guidance. They came from Kogi down to konshisha Benue, and they established a POS point in town, Mr Gideon and Isaac were always ready to guide and assist us with all the questions in fact,they advised us to come to their shops immediately after when we are done with teaching from our schools, so as to start learning how to go about the Business.
Just as they advised, i started helping them in the shop and also Learning about the work too. This was around the year 2019. During that time i told my Elder sister about what i was doing, i told her that i might need some funds to start a pos business in the location, and she advised that i should be very honest and sincere with the Brothers and i should work hard, She also promised to assist in any way possible.
To my Greatest suprise My sister linked me up with one of her friends that was into the Fintech Business before, And After submitting my CV to him, He called me to meet him in Makurdi the Next week to start working with a fintech company called Kudi Agent ( Now known as Nomba Agents). This was the beginning of my success story.
These are the list of People i listened to, Myself, My friend Bayo, , My Sister and the Two Brothers that are operating the POS business.

The answer is yes, My friend Bayo started his own pos business some weeks after i was employed by Nomba Agents, Mr Gideon and Isaac traveled back to Kogi for School and they sold and Handed over their shop to me, the shop became my first Agent Banking Center.
I am so happy i Listened carefully to those Advices.
