Well come to my blog.
Am writing this post under extreme heat, even with my fan running here i am still very much not comfortable because of the hot weather condition.
I have been hearing about extreme weather conditions in the northern part of my Country Nigeria. I never really thought much of it, until i move down to a Northern state in Nigeria.
Well am in Benue state now, benue state is a North Central State, and just as people prediction of extreme weather conditions on the north, i am currently experiencing it. The weather as of December was so cold, most of the time i called my siblings over there in Lagos about the weather, they all replied that it was a fair weather there but over here was a different story entirely.
During December period there was Cold and harmattan, every where was extremely cold, i would have to wear double sweater and some cardigans, although i honestly enjoyed that time. Fast forward to just a month later by January Ending i had a very unpleasant experience with heat, i suddenly begin to experience heat and it all because worse this February.
Presently my fan is working at the highest speed but am still feeling the heat of the weather.
How is the current weather of My City
Currently here in my city (Konshisha), every where is hot, there is so much heat here,
I remember the last time i went to the state capital, which is Makurdi, the weather conditions was even more extreme, riding a motorcycle around the city was a big mistake, because even on motion the wind was blowing up hot all over lol, i even wore a turtle Neck, gosh i was just dripping with sweat all through.
I searched on Google the weather forecast for Konshisha.

Is the Weather better or worse
Right now all i can say is that the weather is not better, the heat is too scorching.
I really prefer the Cold weather. I was always of the opinion that the rainy season is the best because at least you can sleep comfortably without the thought of Switching on the fan or air-conditioning system.
You can always walk in the afternoon with your raincoat or cardigan or Turtle neck if you feel too much cold, but unlike now where everywhere is hot and no Matter what you wear you might still be affected unless you have an air-conditioned system which is pretty expensive to maintain and operate.
Possible solutions to the Hot weather conditions
One of the best natural remedies to counter the Hot weather is to
- staying under a shade, probably a Tree.
*Use A fan, whether electronic fan(Rechargeable or AC Fan) or Hand fan. - you can also use an Air conditioner system and
- wear a light breathable fabric, also avoid wearing black clothes.
- Stay hydrated (drink plenty water and drinks)
Honestly air conditioner could have been the best solution especially if you are in a place where trees are not planted.
