A True success Story

"Success is a Journey", this is one of the quote that I never really understand until recently when I actually have a profound understanding of it.

We are in a world where you can put in your best and all into something and it would end up failing or not meeting up to your expectations, not because you didn't plan well or you didn't make a feasibility finding or even not that you didn't have experience with it. All that Happens was life, you always have your plans but life would bring his own. But there are Days that we win regardless of the effect of Life.
A song writer once said: some nights I stayed up cashing in my Badluck, some nights I wish that my lips could be a castle and sometimes I wished it just fell off,
Sometime I always win, This is just how Life can be sometimes.

In life we can all dream and make those dreams a pointers to our destination although we might go through a lot of tough path but the end of the Journey is success, during that Journey there is Perseverance, long-suffering, hard work, smart work and Learning and unlearning.

Let Me share My this true story of how I became the Team Lead in my current firm.

So basically I work with a fintech company in Nigeria called Moniepoint, I'm pretty sure most people from Nigeria would be familiar with the Name, Moniepoint is a fintech company that renders financial solutions and Resources like Loans, EPR integrations and POS sales to Businesses in Nigeria.
Haven have an experience in the Fintech world before, I was previously working in a fintech company called NOMBA before, I left them to join Moniepoint around December 2023.

I was working as a (Business Relationship Manager) B.R.M in Benue State Here, all we do is customer acquisition and Assigning Point of Sales and Cards to the Business owners.
At some point last year, some the company had some Job Openings or Vacancies, but for a new bie like me, I was not qualified, this is because I didn't have much Business Owners under Me, anyway I applied for some of the available job, I was rejected severally.
I used the Rejections as motivation, anytime I am in the States groups, I attend to issues as if I was one of the Admins and Leaders. For me all these are what I do on a daily basis with my Downlines so I felt it's normal.
One fateful day in the Meeting with the State Coordinator,

She Called my name out, I was shocked, I thought I was in some kind of trouble but to my relief our state Coordinator praised me for all the contributions on the state group, she said she had a suprise for me after the meeting.
I was Eager to know what she had for me.
After like 3 days, I had one of the best news ever, I have been selected as A Team Lead.
It's so unbelievably and Awesome, I never actually qualified but my Actions towards work brought me an unmerited Favour.
