Hello Everyone,
Honestly for me the idea of having a robot that does all the work is both thrilling and terrifying.
As a Sci-fi film lover, I have watched a lot of movie that speaks on this particular concept, for example films like Artificial Intelligence (2001 movie), Ex Machina (2014 movie) all give a little insight on this topic.
Just Imagine waking up every morning to find that a robot has taken care of all your tasks and responsibilities. Your work, household chores, and even personal errands are all handled with precision and efficiency. This might Sounds like a dream come true, But let's be real now.
what would you do with all that free time? Would you use it to pursue your passions, or would you succumb to complacency and laziness?
Let me explain my own view:
Having a robot that does all the work would give me the freedom to pursue my interests without the burden of daily responsibilities. I would have free time to Pursue my passions.
All thanks to the robot doing my Jobs for me, With all the time in the world, I would focus on my hobbies, such as Singing, Tech, and playing music. I would have the opportunity to hone my skills and explore new creative outlets.
I would have full time to Travel and explore places.
I would travel the world, experiencing different cultures and meeting new people. I would take my time to appreciate the beauty of nature, architecture, and art. I would also dedicate myself to learning new things, whether it's a new language, a new skill, or a new subject. I would be curious and open to new experiences, always seeking to improve myself.
But the harsh reality is that I might not really have the passion or drive to go for all these things.I might get very Complacency and loose focus.
Without challenges and responsibilities, I might lose my sense of purpose and motivation. I might become complacent and lazy, relying too heavily on the robot to do everything for me.
Just imagine the joy of having people to relate with at your daily jobs, the rush of meeting targets and goals.
The feeling of Competition in work and reason to also do Better and be the best performer in your work place or business,
All these feelings won't be there if it was robots that is doing all the work for you.
I would easily Lose touch with reality, this is because when all my needs are met, I might lose touch with the world around me, people around me, even my family. I might become disconnected from reality and struggle to relate to others who are still working hard to make ends meet.
What about Missing out on personal growth.
Without the opportunity to learn and grow through work and challenges, I might miss out on personal growth and development. I might not develop the skills and resilience that come with overcoming obstacles.
All the above points are just for my personal perspective but on a larger scale, the impact of such Robots nationwide can lead to social inequality.
For example Those who have access to robots might have an unfair advantage over those who do not. Maybe the Rich guys might be opportune to afford it while the middle class or low income learners might not be capable of buying it.
- Lead to job displacement: Robots might displace human workers, leading to unemployment and social unrest.
In Conclusion
Having a robot that does all the work would undoubtedly change our lives in profound ways. But it will also pose serious risks of complacency and laziness.
