Such stories are very popular here. Parents always think they know what is important for their children which in most cases, they are correct, but then, they forget the fact that their kids may not be happy with what they chose for him. Some student nurses are really reluctant to study nursing because of this same issue of parents forcing their kids to do nursing because they think its a good paying job.
