As human beings, planning ahead is one feature that makes us different and unique from other creatures God had created. Though situations of life might hinder us sometimes, but with determination one can still achieve something without giving in to the challenges of life. Putting in a lot of effort makes a plan seem less difficult.
I've already made my plans for the year both for my offline work and here on Hive, so I want to work harder so as to accomplish all my goals at the end of the year. Year 2023 on hive was like a year of learning and surveying for me, I didn't take the blockchain with lot of seriousness. It was like I was doing hid and seek here and there... lolz. But now, I'm determined to work harder and smarter on hive this new year and make it my top priority seen I now understand what Hive entails.
My Hive Goals
Growing My Hivepower
My target is to increase my HP to 2000 by the end of the year, I'm currently on my way to 700Hp, adding at least an extra 1300Hp won't be a bad idea at all. I intend to power up on HPUD and also power up at least two of my weekly posts so as to boost my Hp.
For me to be able to achieve this, I need to write original contents consistently, participate in communities activities and also interact with other authors so as to show my visibility. I'm assured that with consistency and determination I will be able to achieve my aim.
More Savings
Just like I do for my offline work, I'm determined this year to save more on Hive, no one knows tomorrow. So I've made up my mind to save at least 3HBD per week (I don't want to aim higher so that I won't be discouraged), in a situation whereby I have earn more HBD I will definitely save it.

In time of emergency, savings will definitely serve as a life saver, so it's very crucial for me to save more this year. I've started already this week and I pray for the strength to keep going till the end of the year.
More Investment
I plan to invest in tokens also this year, I want to use my earnings to buy tokens and stake them for future use. Though I usually stake majority of the tokens I earn from curation but I never buy any token throughout last year. This year, my target is to buy tokens that are profitable so that I can have much more tokens to stake and earn more bonuses.
Increase Reputation
My reputation also must increase this year by at least by four points, I refused to be a stagnant Hivian. I know by writing quality posts and receiving votes makes it increase, so I will try my best to work harder because the increase in my reputation means I'm growing here on Hive.
Engaging in more Authors and Communities
Last year I only engaged in 5 communities, but this year I intend to double it. I want to explore other communities and see how things are done there so as for me to widen my interactions with other Authors from different communities. Through engagement with other authors, I know I will surely learn a lot of things and make new friends.
Without wasting much time, I've started working towards my goals and I can't afford to procrastinate. I've taking the bull by the horn and hope I don't relent in all my aspirations.
