I like that you didn't say divorce is a bad thing but that you showed that sometimes it's better than staying together and being unhappy, people who eventually break up end up happier than those who stay trapped in unhappy marriages. I've seen it with my own eyes kids always know when their parents are faking it and that happy family charade just confuses them more, time helps heal some of the wounds at least in some cases. At first the pain can be unbearable but it gets better when both parents can talk without fighting all the time and really work together for the children even when they're no longer together.
