INGREDIENTS
• Fresh tomatoes
• Fresh pepper
• One medium size of onion
• Carrots
• Sweet corn
• Groundnut oil
• Salt
• Magic
• Beef/chicken/Fish
PROCEDURE
Any source of protein could be used but I prefer to use either beef/ Chicken/ fish most especially chicken but today I will be using fish.
Step1
Wash and steam the required protein. I will be going for fish. If you choose to use chicken, after steaming the meat, bring some pieces and slice into smaller piece for the sauce while the rest can be fried and stored.
Step 2
I will wash and slice my tomatoes into a long piece. Divide the tomato into two,slice from the back in a longer piece.
Step 3
I will wash and slice my carrots too. Firstly by scraping off the back using my knife. I do that one after the other after which I divide into two slicing into a longer pieces.
Step 4
I cut my fresh pepper into smaller pieces same with my onion.
Step 5
I put my pot on fire allow to dry up before putting my groundnut oil. After sometime my groundnut oil have gotten hot, I add my tomatoes first to dry and remove the sour taste.
Step 6
After my tomatoes have steamed for sometime, I add my pepper and onion.
Step 7
After steaming for sometime, I add my sweet corn and allow to steam for 2 minutes
After which I will add my carrots
Then the water I used to steam my fish same as my fish I will add it up. I will spice it up. Adding salt, Maggi and other spices. Turn check for taste and allow to steam for sometime before I will bring down and serve. This sauce can be eaten with white rice or white yam.
