RE: Self-Care: Prioritize Your Wellbeing And Avoid Burnout

in Hive Learnerslast month

Well said, love.
There are different ways we get stressed out and wish we can just fold up or something but in cases when we can’t do that, we just have to look for another way to go around it.

Like I said in my post, one of the ways is to avoid too much expectations especially in the aspect of salary increment. Most times, we feel we’ve done too much to receive too little as salaries and before we know it, every thing at work starts becoming tiring and frustrating. We even start hating those we work with even without them doing anything to us especially some that are doing better than us.

On the aspect of having an emotional breakdown, talking to someone is the best like you’ve rightly mentioned. Pouring your heart out to someone will help you feel relieved in so many ways that will in turn affect you physically too.

Thanks for sharing this with us, love. ❤️

Hey there, Hopey. While I agree with you that limiting expectations especially in the aspect of salary increment is important, sometimes we just cannot help it. Imagine a teacher who works from 8am till 5pm and gets paid 30k a month. Surely, the feeling of dissatisfaction will constantly seep in. However, it'd be best if we controlled it. As you mentioned, if we don't, we might start hating on those around us.

Thanks for stopping by, love.

Yeah? It’s hard but it helps. I have been there before. When you know you can’t change something, fighting it will only wear you out.

It’s my pleasure stopping by, love.
