Yesterday was a lucky day

in Hive Learners11 months ago (edited)

A lot of people don't look up to Monday since it means they would have to resume work for the new week and their weekend rest cut short, but ironically Monday is my favorite day of the week because it's the day I get the much needed rest from both work and mum duties for a bit.

As a fashion designer, my Wednesday through to the weekend always have me on a tight schedule due to work and I find it difficult to have a proper rest, fashion designing can be a whole lot hectic for the mind and body, after breaking down a couple of times due to work, I made sure to always observe rest days to preserve my mental and physical health, and my chosen day is Mondays which happened to be yesterday.
In this post, I will be taking you through how my yesterday went, inspired by the current hive learner's weekly topic.

Just like most Mondays, after waking up, observed morning devotion with my family, the next thing is to get my children prepared for school, and also make them breakfast, My usual morning routine, I fed my little one while her elder sister helps herself because my youngest daughter doesn't mind taking the whole day to finish her meal, but since we don't have the whole day, I make sure to do the needful by feeding her so they can be in school early, lunch box parked and all, I personally take them to school myself as their school bus fee has skyrocketted due to the high cost of fuel and general inflation. Taking them to school myself saves me some cost, and I don't mind the activity at all, since it improves the bond between me and my kids as well.

After dropping them off, I'm back home now, to finish my house chores, which mostly involve cleaning up everywhere I also did the laundry with the help of my washing machine, lately we've only been having power restored in the morning, so I make sure to take advantage of that time. Next, I dived into hive, and engaged on some posts I found interesting starting with the Needleworkmonday community before creating my post.

An interesting part of my yesterday was mostly in the Neoxian city, where the citizens were all intrigued by the mega giveaway announcement also teaming discussions were brought up, while all this was going on, I won the big doot from Mr D after a long while, Damn!it felt so good, but to claim my doot, I had to make a video entry according to the giveaway instruction which I had fun doing, lol.

My day ended with me picking up my children from schooling by evening, and also helped them with their home work while they went on and on like they always do telling about how their day went.

It was a good day, and I felt very lucky because I also won the Indiaunited giveaway and Neox giveaway, it's not often we come across a lucky day, I was glad my rest day ended well and I'm ready to make the best of today.

Thank you for reading.❤❤
