Yeah that is true, the thing about most Yoruba parents is that anytime you try to act as if you are smart they will come up with a proverb to support their claim, they will be like, Ila on ga Ju o ni re lo. Which means an okro tree can never be taller than the owner. Which further translate to the fact that no matter how tall an okra tree gets the owner can always cut it down or bed it to harvest it😅.
