The idea of including video blogs sounds beautiful, but not everyone is a video person, I think it's best as the Featured contest touches everywhere, including writing which is the primary thing, pictures, and videos, leaving members with choice to go for whatever works best for them. As such, anyone can participate. Not everyone will love to participate on topics that are solely on videos or pictures. some people don't like cameras at all, I am included 😂😂😂

Rewards does a lot in improving growth, I believe with consistent rewards, people will be motivated to give in more and others will love to also join as well
