Today I join the Creative Sunday initiative. I want to share once again with all of you in this great community. This time, I bring you a delicious dessert that my mother used to give us when we were little: she used to make these dulce de leche candies. Today I show you this delicious recipe that, besides being tasty, is nutritious. It is an excellent option to sweeten the afternoon and the day, I hope you like it!
Without further ado, here are the ingredients and the step-by-step:
-1 liter of milk
To make the liquid milk:
*1 liter of water
*5 tablespoons of powdered milk
-Juice of 2 lemons
-Lemon peel without white rind
-Cinnamon stick
-200 grams of sugar
𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: 𝕊𝕖𝕡𝕥 𝕓𝕪 𝕤𝕥𝕖𝕡:
- To start the preparation, pour the water in the blender cup and add the tablespoons of milk. Then, blend the mixture at high speed until a homogeneous consistency is achieved.
- Transfer the liquid milk to a saucepan and heat over high heat.
- Add the cinnamon stick and the lemon peel, being careful not to add the white part, as it can make the preparation bitter.
- Squeeze the lemon and add its juice to the preparation, Then we mix it and let the milk cut.
- Add the sugar little by little and stir constantly until it is completely integrated.
- Remove the cinnamon stick and the peel, let it cook and stir.
- When the milk has boiled for approximately 40 minutes and has acquired a caramel color and a thick consistency, it is ready.
- Remove the dulce de leche from the pot and transfer it to a container to allow it to reach room temperature so it can be enjoyed.
- Garnish with cinnamon powder and lemon peel.
