Rehabilitation is not 100% trust worthy

Firstly rehab is the process of helping someone live their normal life again and by that this refers to people who are drug abusers, hardened criminals or peole who suffer from one illness or the other.
Taking a person to a rehabilitation center is not such a bad idea, it would definitely help if not in every way but atleast to an extent. In my country Nigeria we believe most things that people might not unsual because there’s always that wicked family who loves to people’s waste their destinies why other times bad things happen to people as a result of what they have done in the past.

Let me share with you guys a short story

My cousin who was drug addict and cyber criminal ran mad sometime last year, he was said to have done somethings that he wasn’t supposed to do because of money, so it affected him so badly to the point he started selling of all his properties he bought worth millions for chicken change, he was also caught trying to commit suicide by jumping inside a river..
He was then taken to the hospital, but after so many ups and downs my uncle was adviced to take him to rehabilitation center, he stayed there for months without any form of hard drugs and while he was there my uncle paid a huge amount of money every month.

After sometime he was discharged from there, he became calm for while but after some time the process repeated itself again, he linked with his fellow smokers and started it again, this he squatted with brother, and one day before my brother came back from travel our cousin had sold almost everything in the house, the insane behavior came back.. so to me from this story I think rehabilitation wouldn’t do justice to case because I believe it has something to do with spiritual, a church would have been better in my opinion, after prayers je should be give given medications to calm his nerves and be watched closely.

Now to the side of an hardened criminal, seriously it takes the grace of God for an hardened criminal or an addict to change from a bad behavior, this things are like bad blood it runs in their DNA, yesterday my boyfriend and I were talking over the phone and he said one of their church members gave a testimony from how he escaped a death sentence that wasn’t his own.

He said he was walking along the streets and all of a sudden, the police patrol team blocked him and took him to the station for no reason but unknowingly to him, they were going to use him to exchange an hardened criminal in the prison that was suppose to be sentenced to death but God saved him through a police woman who was on duty when they brought him.

Now such criminals shouldn’t be taken to rehab or even remain in the police custody, in my opinion they should condemned to death, because before the police could dirty their hands for a criminal then that criminal has higher sponsors and they are ready to do anything, even if it means for to terrorize a whole community for their selfish reasons.

Maybe that relative of yours needed to have spent more time in the rehab facility than he did. Taking him to a church isn't exactly the most logical option. Prayer would be helpful, no doubt, but actual work would go a long one. He's obviously a chronic drug addict, it shouldn't be expected that he becomes clean overnight.
These things take time.

As for the guy who got picked up for a crime he had no idea about, it's just unfortunate. There are lots of people in prison who suffered same fate. It's just terrible how very inhumane people(read as 'the force') can be. Good thing he got out.

You’re very correct but the fact about my cousin is that, he actually went spiritual to acquire wealth which in returned back fired
