Today, I’m sharing some pictures for my entry into a street photography contest. I took these photos a few days ago at the Agargaon intersection,Dhaka.
In these pictures, you can see the metro rail running above the road and a two-lane street below. The vehicles seen in these shots are heading from Agargaon toward Mirpur, while the opposite lane leads from Agargaon to Bijoy Sarani. Agargaon is actually a junction where four roads meet. Previously, there used to be heavy traffic congestion here. But now, with the metro rail in operation, traffic jams have almost seventy percent disappeared.
