Thank you so much, brother, for these luminous photographs. I have a special devotion to black and white photography, perhaps because it conveys a sense of eternity; perhaps because it came before color, or because I was born in the 1970s and all my childhood photos were in black and white, or perhaps because of my admiration for Luis Eduardo Aute's song, "Music Remains," where, while the singer-songwriter speaks of how with the passage of time, "Nothing remains on that piece of paper, everything is alchemy," he also recognizes the moment that becomes eternal because, despite everything: "Music Remains!"
