Pollination
Pollination is the process that takes place from the moment the pollen leaves the stamen in which it was generated until it reaches the pistil where it will fertilize the ovules of the flower and germinate. This path will allow the appearance of new fruits and seeds.
Pollen can be transported by different agents, such as birds, bats or insects, mainly bees, or by the action of water or wind.
In the vicinity of the building where I live, there is a shrub known as creeping daisy, which is characterized by its tiny flowers that do not exceed 3 centimeters in diameter, and have an intense yellow color, which captures the attention of a large number of bees that usually perch on its flowers.
As I have described in previous posts, I process the original photographs using the editing tools offered in their free versions by the applications Picsart and Snapseed.
La polinización es el proceso que se desarrolla desde que el polen deja el estambre en el que ha sido generado, hasta que llega al pistilo en el que fecundará los óvulos de la flor y germinará. Este recorrido permitirá la aparición de nuevos frutos y semillas.
El transporte del polen lo pueden realizar diferentes agentes, tales como las aves, murciélagos o insectos, principalmente abejas; o también por la acción del agua o del viento.
En las cercanías del edificio donde vivo, se encuentra un arbusto conocido como margarita rastrera, que se caracteriza por sus diminutas florecillas que no exceden los 3 centímetros de diámetro, y que presentan un color amarillo intenso, lo cual capta la atención de una gran cantidad de abejas que suelen posarse en sus flores.
Como he descrito en posts anteriores, las fotografías originales las proceso haciendo uso de las herramientas de edición que ofrecen en sus versiones gratuitas las aplicaciones Picsart y Snapseed.
