The term bakery refers to the establishment or premises where different types of sweet foods, such as pastries, cakes, pies or others, are made or sold.
However, the notion of bakery is not only used to identify the place where desserts and sweets are produced or sold, but it is also used to name the set of knowledge and techniques related to their preparation. Unlike other culinary specialties, patisserie pays much attention to the decoration and presentation of its products.
This pair of photos belonging to my personal archive were taken a few months ago while visiting a gelateria and pastry shop in the city, specialized in the preparation of traditional Italian desserts such as tiramisu, sfogliatelle, also known as lobster tails, cookies, among other delicious preparations.
As I have described in previous posts, I process the original photographs using the editing tools offered in their free versions by the applications Picsart and Snapseed.
El término pastelería se refiere al establecimiento o local donde se elaboran o venden distintos tipos de alimentos dulces, tales como pasteles, tortas, tartas u otros.
Sin embargo, la noción de pastelería no se emplea sólo para identificar al lugar donde se producen o venden los postres y dulces, sino que también se usa para nombrar al conjunto formado por los conocimientos y técnicas vinculados a su preparación. A diferencia de otras especialidades culinarias, la pastelería presta mucha atención a la decoración y la presentación de sus productos.
Este par de fotos pertenecientes a mi archivo personal, las tomé unos meses atrás mientras visitaba una gelatería y pastelería de la ciudad, especializada en la elaboración de postres tradicionales italianos, tales como el tiramisú, los sfogliatelle, también conocidos como colas de langosta; galletas, entre otras deliciosas preparaciones.
Como he descrito en posts anteriores, las fotografías originales las proceso haciendo uso de las herramientas de edición que ofrecen en sus versiones gratuitas las aplicaciones Picsart y Snapseed.
