Hello, welcome to my blog. It's another great week and I hope it'll be pleasant for you.
For the PhotoFeed Contest - Street Photography Round 125, I have this photo to share.
As I navigated through the ever busy Ahịa Ọhụrụ (New Market) in my city, Aba, my eyes caught sight of this interesting scene. A young male vendor, seated on the handle of his wheelbarrow, pen in hand, jotting away on the small paper in his hand.
What struck me was that despite noise, or rather chaos unfolding around him - vendors calling out, customers haggling, wheelbarrow pushers raining curses and abuses on passersby, hawkers shouting at the top of their voices in a bid to attract customers, etc., he remained oblivious to it all, and was completely absorbed in what he was writing.
As I stopped in my tracks to capture him, I couldn't help but ponder if he was tallying up sales he's made so far, jotting down something much more important or maybe pouring his thoughts onto paper.
Whichever it was, his concentration in a bustling market, with all its sights and sounds speaks volume.
This photo clearly indicates humans ability to tune out distractions and stay focused on what matters most. It also reminds us to keep track of our daily activities.
Therefore, I urge you dear readers, to make it a lifestyle of appreciating the quiet moments amidst the chaos. May we find peace even in troubled waters.
Thank you for reading.
