Today's theme, like all those presented, seems very suggestive to me and is particularly very important to me.
Like everything personal, cutlery, drinking vessels and coffee cups are the things that I always try to carry with me and use them permanently.
I admit that this has brought me some disagreements with my wife, but after the Covid-19 pandemic she understood the importance of this and now for our trips we carry our personal eating and drinking utensils, especially for those cases in which we order it to take away.
In the case of coffee cups, I have three that have been with me for quite some time and each one plays a role in my personal life: One is for drinking coffee at work, another for enjoying coffee at home and the other for the occasions when I go out for a coffee and do not have time to share it in a coffee shop.
Each of the mugs has its own story and, despite the time, they are still with me because they represent an important part in the history of my life.
The one I use at home was given to me by my wife. It is amber in color and is one of the so-called heirlooms. With this mug we have smoothed out differences, we have loved each other, we have made plans, initiated projects and fulfilled dreams. Of the three, it is the one that has been with me the longest (23 years).
The one I use at work was given to me by a co-worker when I arrived at my current workplace. This one is white with an embossed drawing and has been with me for six years, enjoying my successes and raising my spirits in the face of every challenge I have taken on.
The other one I use, and it is the one that is always with me, is the one I use to drink coffee when I travel or when I go to a coffee shop and I have to take my coffee with me to drink it later. This mug is a light carmelite color and has been with me for 11 years.
These are the three mugs that I carry with me and are part of my life story.
