That Topcafe 3 in 1 being too sweet resonates. I usually switch to a plain black cup when a mix feels like dessert. If you ever revisit a sachet, try half a pack and and extra hot water to tame the sugar without losing the aroma. I dont enjoy the sugar crash either, and your nod to smooth classic roast made me crave simple co;ffee again. My calculator says keep the sugar minimal :)

totally feel you, it's that surprise sugar hit 😅. if you are done with sachets, go for unsweetened instant or a simple pour over, then add a touch of honey if needed and and keep it black most days :). what are you goign for next, plain drip or straight espresso?

I took classic roast - strong and black, the first time and I was sold by it. I think I'll stick with it, for now.
