After a few hours of working out as my new recent routine, feeling really tired and accomplished. I decided to give myself a special treat, something warm and comforting. So on my way home I stopped by the market square on the way to grab me some instant coffee powder hoping to make it at home and feel relaxed. One thing about a cup of coffee after workout is the ways it soothes your muscles and energizes your spirit, and that is the exact balance I was craving.
I got the creamy white coffee mix Top Cafe. , a popular creamy white coffee mix here in the country.
What I really love about Top Cafe is the simplicity. I love the fact that it already comes with milk and sugar blended in.
So all I needed to do was add some hot water when I got home. Quick, easy, and just what I needed at the moment.
I also went to grab some snacks to go with the coffee, I needed something soft and tasty. So I wandered through the market stalls and I found a new interesting one there, the cake bread. Then a vendor called out, "would you like to try this cake bread... you'll love it"
Cake bread? That was new to me. The name alone piqued my curiosity. I imagined a soft, sweet loaf that could perfectly complement the creamy coffee I had just picked up. So trusting the vendor's enthusiasm, I bought the cake bread, hoping it would be what I expected.
I also got the sausage roll which was my favorite one. Sausage roll is my go-to snack, always reliable and filling.
Once I got home, I freshened up and then I quickly boiled some water, poured it over the Top Cafe mix in my favorite mug and I watched it transform into a smooth creamy coffee. The beauty and the aroma was really refreshing, this is the scent that brings instant confort hehe.
I was eager to see what the cake bread looks like inside and the taste, so I sliced into it first, well to my delight, it was just what I hoped for, soft, slightly sweet and the texture was also good. It paired beautiful with the coffee, and made the moment more satisfying for me. I'm glad the cake bread didn't replace my favorite lol, the sausage roll was the savory bite I loved most, it balanced everything perfectly.
This coffee moment turned into something really special, from the new flavor I explore to the comforting coffee that soothed my muscles just as expected. Most times it's just the simple things and a little bit of curiosity that brings joys the most in life.
