There is definitely something comforting about having a coffee at home. Going to a cafe is a nice date activity on a wekend though. We almost never go and sit in a cafe here in Canada. There are so few cafes here that aren't chains and I just have no desire to go and sit in a Starbucks or Tim Hortons.

Yeah, I think so. It's not an option for me to go and work from a cafe, and it's no fun for me alone to go and order a coffee and pastry, and people-watch.

You can get creative with whatever ingredients you already have at home and it doesn't take long to bake.
I also know that I have good quality coffee at home, and I'm not left guessing what the coffee shop might be serving me:)))
