In February, one of the largest cultural events in the country, known as the Havana International Book Fair, is held in Cuba. This great literary festival is usually held at Morro Cabaña, always starting in the capital and spreading to the provinces of the rest of the country.
As I am a great lover of reading, I never miss the opportunity to visit the fair every year. The satisfaction I find in acquiring a new book is immense; but in this post I am not exactly talking about literature, but about the mid-afternoon coffee I was able to enjoy there.
I had forgotten to tell you that this time, my day at the fair was much more pleasant and happy than usual, thanks to the company of my dear friend @lagoticaderocio. Among the things we both have in common is the pleasure we enjoy a cup of coffee, so when we left one of the pavilions where they were exhibiting literature for children, and also a very entertaining play, we were seduced by the smell of freshly brewed coffee, and we walked smiling until we found the place where that delicious aroma came from.
We soon found the stall. Although it was a simple place, to drink coffee standing up and continue enjoying the event, I liked its decoration because it was very Cuban: they had a wooden cabinet with hats, coffee bags, sewing machines, jugs and other items that can be found in a Cuban countryside. I found it very nice to hear a group of guys who were next to us, saying that they had also found that place selling coffee oriented by the smell.
