It's interesting to see the little differences between people in how they take their coffee - personally, I love that bitterness and tend to prefer it over a milky/lighter taste :D It looks like you had a nice time (nice shirt, by the way!) :)
Yes, for me, it is the small differences that determine whether someone likes coffee or not. I don't really like it very bitter, that's why I prefer latte, it's much smoother and in my opinion it's more pleasant to drink.
