For those who don't know I work as a pastry chef in a place called Strada which works as a restaurant, pastry shop and coffe shop at the same time, and as you know, my area, the pastry shop, goes hand in hand with the café, since our diners when they want to go to relax reading a good book or just to listen to the relaxing playlist of the place and forget a little of the work and routine usually ask for a coffee and one of my desserts, so I always work hard to keep the display case full of desserts.
However, to enjoy our variety of teas and coffees I created some delicious cookies that our customers like very much, the chocolate and white chocolate chips, and others that came to my mind at a certain moment and that are undoubtedly my favorites, They were inspired by the cinnamon roles and it is precisely with these that I usually accompany my coffees in my scarce free time, because in my case coffee does not make me active but I associate it with rest and relaxation, I like it very sweet and with plenty of milk, and sometimes my fellow baristas add some essence such as vanilla, cinnamon or chocolate syrup.
This machine attracts me like a bee to honey because all the magic happens in it. Obviously, since I'm not a barista the operation seems a bit complex to me, but I really appreciate everything a barista can do with it. Because I'm so close I always smell the aroma and hear the hissing sound it makes, which whets my appetite for caffeine, especially in the evenings when I crave it the most. Before the previous barista who was my friend left, she was teaching me a little bit how to handle this machine, but I think I should retake the lessons because the coffee made in these things is much tastier than the one we can make with the simple coffee makers, the good thing is that machines like these are already coming out smaller and easier to use, because they are homemade versions, maybe later on I will buy one of those.
There are many kinds of coffee available at this coffee shop, and I usually enjoy all of them the times I have attended as a customer on my day off, but to relax at work I always opt for a vanilla latte which is my favorite, I love it! 😍 And which one do you like the most?

Para quienes no sepan yo trabajo como chef pastelera en un lugar llamado Strada el cuál funciona como restaurante, pastelería y café al mismo tiempo, y como ustedes saben, mi área, la pastelería, va de la mano con el café, ya que nuestros comensales cuando quieren ir a relajarse leyendo un buen libro o simplemente a escuchar la relajante playlist del lugar y olvidarse un poco del trabajo y la rutina suelen pedir un café y alguno de mis postres, por lo tanto siempre trabajo duro para mantener llena la vitrina de exhibición de postres.
Sin embargo para disfrutar de nuestra variedad de tes y cafés yo cree unas deliciosas galletas que a nuestros clientes les gustan mucho, las de chocolates y chispas de chocolate blanco, y otras que se me ocurrieron en un momento determinado y que son sin lugar a dudas mis favoritas, fueron inspiradas en los roles de canela y son precisamente estas con las que yo suelo acompañar mis cafés en mis escasos ratos libres, porque en mi caso el café no me pone activa sino que lo asocio al descanso y a la relajación, me gusta muy dulce y con bastante leche, y en algunos ocasiones mis compañeros baristas les añaden alguna esencia como vainilla, canela o sirope de chocolate.
Esta máquina me atrae como abeja a la miel porque en ella sucede toda la magia. Obviamente como no soy barista el funcionamiento me parece un poco complejo, pero aprecio muchísimo todo lo que un barista puede hacer con ella. Debido a que estoy tan cerca siempre siento el aroma y escucho el silbido que provoca, lo cual me despierta el apetito por la cafeína, sobre todo por las tardes que es cuando se me antoja mucho más. Antes de que la anterior barista que era mi amiga se fuera, ella estaba enseñándome un poco a manejar esta máquina, pero creo que yo debería retomar las lecciones porque el café hecho en estas cosas es mucho más sabroso que el que podemos hacer con las cafeteras sencillas, lo bueno es que ya están saliendo máquinas como estas más pequeñas y fáciles de usar, porque son versiones casera, quizá más delante compre una de esas.
Hay muchas clases de café disponibles en esta cafetería, y yo suelo disfrutar de todas ellas las veces que he asistido como cliente en mi día libre, pero para relajarme en el trabajo siempre opto por un latte vainilla que es mi favorito, ¡Me encanta! 😍 ¿Y a ustedes cuál les gusta más?
