Sometime back, less than a week ago, a friend of mine took my phone to just look through it, and somehow, rummaging through my files, she found something she never thought that she would.
And what's that? Movies. She had said, 'So, Amaka, you watch films? I did not know o. I did not even know that you had any movie on your phone.'
I had smiled dryly. I was embarrassed, a little too. And I told her just the truth which is that I do not entertain movies in my phone and I don't see many movies but within those past days, I just felt like seeing an old series that came to mind.
The only perplexing thing about that sudden itch to sit through a film was that it began just when I was in the heat of preparing and writing exams. I would tell myself that I could do that afterward but wouldn't detach from the film. From, let me just see one episode while I have my meal so I can unwind, I'm downloading a next episode and a next.
But, this was one of my best series ever(there's two of them). It's the film, "the last ship." In my early days on this blockchain, I have written about it, I think.

That year, when my siblings(of course, you did not think that it was me) would get the CD disks of this series, inspite of not being a TV person, I stuck around and it got my interest far more than everyone else in the room. It's my kind of movie with all that warships, patriotism, intelligence, and best of all, chain of command. I've seen lots of other movies like this one but I was open to being distracted while I saw them. Not this one.
If you haven't seen this film, please check it out. It's the ultimate best movie that I have seen(that'swhat i like to say). I first saw it in the year 2014 when it was released, and i remember sitting through episode after episode without moving. It must have lasted for over six hours cause I know that sometime within then, either power-holding did their normal or the particular season ended, and we hadn't gotten the next. I just searched online and found that each episode runs for an hour. Meanwhile, there are ten episodes in each season. So, maybe it's ten-hours watch-time as opposed to my assumed six hours.
It was during the school period then, but even with knowing I had to be up early in preparation for a school day, I would not go to bed. And so I suffered from having little sleep and although my body system always finds a way to help me stay alert and mot feel sleepy while I'm out in school, I get to overslept until late hours into the evening after school or just suffer a disorderly sleep pattern.
Aside from this one and the other series, 'everybody hates Chris' are the films I spent long hours binge-watching without blinking. Amd that's it.
Thanks for gracing this post.
Greetings!
