So China produces the best chargers?

I know this is the second time I’m writing about phone chargers in the last two months and now it sounds like I’m obsessed with them but hear me out. So my brother and I were having this argument about which country produces the best chargers and I couldn’t help but say China. Hold on, hold on. Before you judge me, listen to why I think that is so and trust me I have a story to back it.

When I was using my old phone, my phone battery was actively deteriorating and for those who might be wondering how I got to know, there’s something called battery health on iPhones which shows the strength of your battery as and when you use it. The highest is 100% and the least is 0 but then I’ve never seen any phone with battery health below 70% before.

So when my battery health started dropping, I had two options; to either change my battery or change my phone and I chose the latter thinking the problem was going to get solved. But right after I bought my new phone, my battery health dropped about 3% down which was very weird. I took it back to the ishop to complain and that was when I was told the problem was coming from my old charger. I immediately bought a new charger and the problem got fixed.

Currently, my brother is facing the same problem and for him, his charger(faulty) charges his phone very fast but doesn’t charge mine at all. Oh I know what you are thinking and guess what? It’s not just mine, it doesn’t charge other people’s phones too. This got me curious to further find out about the manufacturers of the various chargers.

Here’s where it gets interesting: my new phone charger was made in china, same as my brother’s new charger too. Oh that’s not all, my mom’s, sister’s, almost all my friend’s chargers as well. I have a whole mental list of people whose phone chargers were made in China and are very good whereas the old chargers are also from one particular country(no, I’m not going to mention).

I want to believe that maybe,just maybe the chargers weren’t made for our phones and that’s why it destroyed our batteries. But genuinely and deep down, I believe China is one of the best when it comes to producing quality phone chargers and maybe electronics in general.

Next time when I’m going to buy a phone charger, I’ll just check which country it’s coming from and if it’s china, I’m not thinking twice. And you know what? Check under your phone charger and see, I bet it would tell you made in China.
