The first time I saw one of these mushrooms, I photographed it for Hive. Back then, I didn't have a phone that allowed for a good image. But this time, I did, so I was able to capture the details.
So this morning, while I was drinking water and looking at my newly planted plants, I saw it.

I didn't hesitate to photograph it because I love documenting everything that happens in this beautiful space of my home.
Which makes me wonder...

When do these mushrooms appear?
I think back a bit, and now that I think back, it was also around these months when I saw the first of these mushrooms.
So, according to these observations, they appear when the rainy season begins.
The excessive humidity in the pots thanks to the recurrent rains, plus the shade provided by these potted plants, make them thrive.
In other words, these conditions make my pots the ideal environment for them.
But there's a small detail: Not all flowerpots generate mushrooms.
And they don't last all day.
I've also noticed that these mushrooms grow in flowerpots like these, where I have wooden sticks embedded to keep my cats from digging.
The wooden stick decomposes, which also helps make it a good place for them to grow.

For now, there are only two. I'd like to see a few more, but I don't know if that's possible.
Living in Anzoátegui, near the coast, the sun is available for much of the day. I can see these curious mushrooms in the morning, but by midday, they fade and disappear.
So, getting up early today was worth it in every way. Not only did I make the most of the day, but I was also able to witness these beautiful mushrooms.

What kind of mushrooms are they?
I wasn't satisfied with just seeing them, so I decided to investigate them, and this type of mushroom is: Common basidiomycete mushroom.
Thanks to this research, I discovered the main reason it's found in my garden: this mushroom emerges to the surface thanks to wood decomposition.
This means that the wooden sticks I've buried in my potted plants are decomposing, generating a kind of plant.
Nature is undoubtedly wonderful.
