A few days ago I noticed some very tall amaranth plants next to a pile of cut grass.
Hace días noté unas plantas de bledo muy altas al lado de un montón de grama cortada.
As I approached, I saw that there was something white at the base of one of them.
Al acercarme vi que había algo blanco al pie de una de ellas.
I got even closer and realized that it was a beautiful, solitary mushroom.
Me acerqué aun un poco más y me di cuenta de que se trataba de una bonita y solitaria seta.
It had a cap diameter of about 5 centimeters and a height of 4.5 centimeters. It was white, with yellowish scales and veil.
Tenía unos 5 centímetros de diámetro de sombrero y 4,5 centímetros de altura. Era blanca, con escamas y velo amarillentos.
It could be one of the genus Leucoprinus.
Podría tratarse de una del género Leucoprinus.
It looked like something out of a fairy tale.
Parecía salida de un cuento de hadas.
It lasted only one day and, with the arrival of a torrential downpour, it fell to the ground.
Duró sólo un día y, con la llegada de un torrencial aguacero cayó al suelo.
