Happy Sunday!
Welcome to my blog, and to another round of the Proof Of Brain Photo Contest. When I saw the topic - "Height", I went to my archive, hoping to see a photo that would relate to the topic. It was a long search until I stumbled found these one I'd be sharing with you.
This is a radio broadcasting transmission mast. Actually, it's that of the Radio station where I work - Magic 102.9 FM Aba.
This photo has been in my archive for over two years now. It was taken in the year 2022, May 5th, precisely, and it was a spontaneous shot.
That day, as I walked into the premises, my eyes landed on the transmission mast. Although I've seen the mast often, but something about it made me stop in my tracks. It's towering height left me marveled.
I stood for a while looking at it, and I was left in a state of wonder - how do the engineers climb it to the top? Do they feel scared at some point? Well, I'm acrophobic, and the thought or idea of scaling the mast would definitely make me wet my pants. 😅
I also wondered how this metal of a mast is able to transmit programs from the live studio to the airwaves, allowing people to listen from anywhere.
I also wondered how the equipment on this metal mast is able to transmit programs from the live studio to the airwaves, allowing people to listen from anywhere. Technology is indeed amazing!
Thank you for reading.
