Tonight, I want to show you all how I'm caring for this clove tree. I'm doing this because it hasn't rained in a day. As I mentioned, this clove tree, during its growth period from 3 to 6 months, requires a lot of watering, at least 3 times a day. During this period, I water it during the day and then again in the evening.
You can see that the hose is spraying water onto the clove seedlings growing in the black growing medium. Until very wet, I do this twice around the circumference when watering, as follows:
First, water around the circumference, initial watering towards the soil in the polybag.
Second, water around the circumference, watering towards the top of the leaves and stem until wet.
I do this step to ensure the young roots of the clove seedlings in the pots receive water from the soil first. Then, I water using a watering can. To avoid disturbing the rooting process in the soil, I water gently, by feeling the roots. This ensures the leaves, stems, and soil receive water evenly and does not interfere with their growth.
