Hello my dear fellow farmers, I hope we are doing well today. It's another great day and we need to be happy all the time.
Today, I will be shining more light on the processes of planting cassava plants.

Planting Materials and Planting Date
Cassava is a root and tuber crop just as yam. It is propagated using stem cuttings around this period of March down till September.

After the land is cleared and plowed, the cassava stem cuttings should be made ready against the day of propagation. From the video, the cuttings should be of almost equal length.

Then, following what I said in the video, planting of cassava manually requires cutlass which will be used to make holes in which the stem cuttings will be inserted into.

The stem cuttings have what they call nodes.

It's from the nodes that the shoot emerges from. When planting the cassava, the stem cuttings should be placed in a way that few nodes are just above the soil. This is the shoot node.

I hope this video is more helpful than just giving out a story, and I hope you all have learned something new today.
Thanks for checking up on my post. Love you all😍.
