Maize/Corn Crop Update

‎AssalamuAlaikum & Greetings Hive Family!
‎It's me @amjadsharif

As you all know that my posts are being uploaded very rarely, I posted the last blog about corn 17 days ago. My aim is to share information with you because I am practicing corn, so I keep sharing my experience with farmers, but the reason why I am less interested in this platform is that when I feel that no one is not noticing me and my efforts, I automatically start backing away and I am also doing the same because neither the curators pay attention to my post nor other people, including farmers, pay attention to it. I am trying to share complete information with you from the swing of corn to harvest and I will definitely do this. After that, I may not be able to work on this platform. I have told you the reason above.

I inspected the corn field because we had to use granular poison to put it in the cobs. One was to see if the granular poison could be put in it by labor to protect it from the caterpillars. The other was that the wind was blowing very strong today, as you can see in the picture. We are waiting for the wind to stop because Majid has to put this granular poison in the cobs.

After consulting Majid, I bought sphire from a spray shop and handed it over to Majid so that he could now put it on the corn cobs. Majid did his job well and within three days filled one acre of corn cobs with sphire.

I have borrowed a 25 kg bag of potash SOP from a friend and a 50 kg bag of urea from another friend because I do not have the amount to buy them but the corn crop needs it, which I have to apply with water in any case. The cost of both bags are Rs. 140000.

The tasseling process has not started yet and the stalk will start coming out after about 10 days in the gob state. At this time, I am going to apply half a bag of potash and half a pack of urea. I have put half a bag of potash in it by pouring water into the drum and along with it, I have put half a pack of urea in it and prepare its solution. After preparing the solution, I have opened the drum lid so that this mixture dissolves with the water and goes into the field and benefits the crop.

I checked the seed coat of a plant and it shows signs of bud formation and has already budded to some extent, which means it will sprout in the next six to 10 days. Therefore, it was important to apply fertilizer to the soil where it is applied. There must be moisture in the soil so that the process of bud and seed formation continues and there is no loss in production.

Wow!

For various reasons, I hadn't been able to see your previous posts about the progress of your crops. I'm so glad to see they're still developing well. It couldn't be any other way, given the care you give to the soil and what you plant. Congratulations!
