I find the views of the countryside in Alberta to always be very captivating. Prairie fields and farmland backed by the Rocky Mountains are an exquisite sight. I find a certain peacefulness in these views; having grown up in the city, I don't even find the powerlines or other manmade objects to be a distraction, as there is far more open space and fewer things to obstruct my view. This is along the highway to Banff, just west of the city of Calgary.
