There is always plenty to do and much to see at a convention that is the size of the Calgary Comic Expo. Hundreds of displays, tables, vendors, and artists, perhaps even a thousand or more combined. It is quite a feat to try and catch it all in a day, and I don't think I could accomplish such a feat even with my years of hardened comic convention experience. I have learned it is good not to overstimulate, and I like to go every day the convention is on so that I don't feel the pressure of trying to do it all.
I appreciate creativity in all its forms, and even the stuff I am not naturally into can still seem appealing and eye-catching, so there are many opportunities to gather images and take many photos so that I have somewhat of an archive of all these experiences.
