This tiny little hoverfly is a subject I always enjoy seeing in nature. I find that they will generally sit very still once they land on something like a flower. This helps me get some great macros, as I can get close enough without startling this little bug away. I also find they have interesting patterns on their bodies to capture and some pretty well defined details. These features can help when finding subjects for macro photography.
