I thought about this. Interesting that you thinking about too, to exclude the sponsord from the winning.
I had two thoughts about it too: a sponsoring don'e will influence the selection of the winners. But I would highlight the entries/contributions from sponsors.
Plus, I don't would use your HSBI's every day. I already talked to some other Hivians - with success. So I assume that in the next 1, 2, 3 days other would go into sponsoring too. And then I would switch like: 1 HSBI from sponsor X today, 1 HSBI on the next day from sponsor Y, the next day use a HSBI from sponsor Z and so on.
In the next posting I will clarify that sponsoring has now influence of selecting the winner.
See bro, if sponsor can donate HIVE, then he or she can also arrange HSBI in some other way. So, good thing the sponsor should remain out of the contest for certain days as per donated amount.
OR
You can skip sponsor's entries from rolling in contest list for x days equals to HSBI given.
Now, it is up to you whichever way you distribute the prizes or filter them because with you the reward HSBI remains in the total less HSBI awarded to winners.
