You don't know how long I've waited for this flower!
It's the first flower on this plant, because it's new to the garden.
So I've been waiting patiently, but, surprise: I never got to see this beautiful bud open.
In fact, this post has been postponed, waiting for a beautiful bloom from this huernia.
I've been away from home for my internship, so I can't monitor the plants as much as I used to.
So I'm guessing maybe an insect or one of my cats has attacked it.
The strangest thing about all this is that the plant doesn't have a single scratch, which makes me wonder about this garden mystery, which I plan to investigate further.
In the meantime, I hope to see a bud again, and later, a flower.
According to the internet, they are yellow. And they don't last long. The downside is that they attract some insects, like flies. But I'm fine with it because the plants are outdoors in the garden, and their flower life cycle is quite short. This means this won't last that long.
For now, I can only wonder and make observations on weekends in the garden. Because I really wonder what happened.
Do you have this plant at home? Has something similar ever happened to you?
I'd really appreciate your answer. <3
