Today I spent a spectacular day at the pool with my cousin, since we both had the day off, and what better way to spend it than enjoying ourselves and clearing our minds. We went to a small nearby restaurant that offers food service and music all day long. The pool wasn't filled with enough water and was a bit neglected, so we didn't even think about going in.
Despite that, the atmosphere was quite pleasant. We found a table under the shade of a large umbrella and settled in with some cold drinks. We ordered homemade burgers with fries and shared a starter of nachos with cheese. The food was delicious, and the place had that relaxed atmosphere that makes you forget any worries. While we ate, summer songs played, putting us in a good mood. We even played for a while with some cards my cousin had carried in her purse, amid laughter and anecdotes we hadn't remembered for years.
Later, we decided to take some photos to immortalize the moment. We laughed so hard trying to pose stylishly while the wind tousled our hair and the sun forced us to close our eyes. It was one of those simple but memorable days, where the most important thing isn't the place itself, but the company and the good vibes.
Hoy pasé un día espectacular en la piscina en compañía de mi prima, ya que las dos teníamos el día libre y qué mejor que pasarlo disfrutando y despejando la mente. Fuimos a un pequeño local cercano donde hay servicios gastronómicos y música todo el día. La piscina no estaba con suficiente agua y un poco descuidada, por eso ni siquiera pensamos en entrar a ella.
A pesar de eso, el ambiente era bastante agradable. Encontramos una mesa bajo la sombra de una gran sombrilla y nos acomodamos con unas bebidas frías. Pedimos unas hamburguesas caseras con papas fritas y compartimos una entrada de nachos con queso. La comida estaba deliciosa, y el lugar tenía ese aire relajado que te hace olvidar cualquier preocupación. Mientras comíamos, sonaban canciones veraniegas que nos pusieron de buen humor. Incluso jugamos un rato con unas cartas que llevaba mi prima en su bolso, entre risas y anécdotas que no recordábamos hace años.
Más tarde, nos animamos a tomarnos unas fotos para inmortalizar el momento. Nos reímos muchísimo al intentar posar con estilo mientras el viento nos despeinaba y el sol nos obligaba a cerrar los ojos. Fue uno de esos días sencillos pero memorables, donde lo más importante no es el lugar en sí, sino la compañía y la buena vibra.
