Good morning my friends, happy start to the week!
Yesterday, as usual, I visited a new place that sells great Mexican food. The restaurant is called La Catrina. I had a great time listening to music, eating, and drinking a few beers because the intense heat needed some cooling, at least from the inside out, haha.
I spent a good part of the afternoon there because not only was the food excellent, but the staff was also very pleasant and charismatic. I even learned a few things about Mexican culture.
I tried some tacos al pastor that were finger-licking good, well-seasoned, and with that pineapple flavor that gives them a spectacular sweet touch. I also tried some chorizo quesadillas, and I couldn’t miss the creamy guacamole. This place definitely earned a spot on my list of favorite places to eat!
Finally, before leaving, they gave me a small souvenir: a keychain with a Day of the Dead-style skull. I thought it was a very nice and symbolic touch. I left the restaurant with a full stomach, a happy heart, and a mind eager to continue exploring more places full of flavor and culture. It’s a nice way to close out the weekend!

Ayer como es costumbre para mi estube visitando un nuevo lugar donde venden muy buena comida mexicana ,el restaurante se llama La Catrina ,pase un buen rato escuchando musica ,comiendo y bebiendo algunas cervecitas porque el intenso calor que habia tenia que refrescar de alguna manera,al menos de adentro para afuera jajaja.
Me pase buena parte de la tarde en ese lugar ,porque no solo la comida era exelente sino que tambien el personal a cargo era muy agradable y carismatico ,incluso aprendi varias cosas de la cultura mexicana.
Probé unos tacos al pastor que estaban para chuparse los dedos, bien sazonados y con esa piña que le da un toque dulce espectacular. También me animé con unas quesadillas de chorizo y no podía faltar el guacamole bien cremosito. ¡Definitivamente este lugar se ganó un espacio en mi lista de sitios favoritos para comer!
Al final, antes de irme, me regalaron un pequeño souvenir: un llaverito con una calaverita al estilo del Día de los Muertos. Me pareció un detalle muy bonito y simbólico. Salí del restaurante con el estómago lleno, el corazón contento y la mente con ganas de seguir explorando más rincones llenos de sabor y cultura. ¡Así da gusto cerrar el fin de semana!
