There’s something magical about mornings by the beach. Whenever we find ourselves on vacation, I always make it a point to share with my husband the idea of enjoying a delicious meal with the sand between our toes. Today, I'm excited to recount a special moment – our breakfast by the beach with my beloved hubby and our little princess.
During our time in Siargao, we stumbled upon a charming restaurant called Loka, which has quickly become a favorite among locals and travelers alike for its dedication to using fresh, locally sourced ingredients. It was surprising that we discovered this gem while strolling along the Cloud 9 boardwalk with our daughter.
Upon finding the perfect spot, we ordered their breakfast of the day while our daughter enjoyed playing with the sand. While waiting for our food to be served, our daughter kept on saying that it was her best day ever and I found myself smiling, my heart was full. With the first sip of coffee, I felt the warmth seep through my veins, energizing me for the day ahead. My hubby and I shared a knowing glance, acknowledging the beauty of this moment – a simple yet profound joy of togetherness.
Our breakfast by the beach was more than just a meal – it was a reminder to cherish the moments that truly matter, to embrace the beauty of the present, and to nourish our souls with love, laughter, and the serenity of nature.
