Last weekend, we received an exciting invitation. I say exciting because I really like the mountains and hiking activities, mainly because of the landscapes that usually accompany them. I love how everything looks from the top.
Many years ago I had climbed a bit of what we know where I live as "Maracay hotel hill", when I went the first time, it was tiring but not too tiring. So based on that memory, I thought it would be easy. In the end I only climbed the first of 4 stations, my blood pressure dropped, I threw up and had to lie down under a super intense sun until I felt better.
The truth is that the experience was different, mainly because I am not in the same physical condition as before, nor the same age, but as a personal challenge, I decided to come back soon, and climb it several times until I reach the end.

El fin de semana antepasado, nos hicieron una invitación emocionante. Digo emocionante porque la verdad me gusta mucho la montaña y las actividades de senderismo, principalmente por los paisajes que suelen acompañarlas. Amo como se ve todo desde arriba.
Hace muchos años había subido un poco de lo que en donde vivo conocemos como "cerro del hotel Maracay", cuando fui la primera vez, fue cansado pero no demasiado. Así que basándome en ese recuerdo, creí que sería sencillo. Al final solo subí a la primera de 4 estaciones, se me bajó la presión, vomite y tuve que acostarme bajo un sol súper intenso hasta que me sentí mejor.
La verdad la experiencia fue diferente, principalmente porque ya no tengo ni la condición física de antes, ni la misma edad, pero como reto personal, me propuse volver pronto, y subirla varias veces hasta que logre llegar al final.
