During my visit to the state of São Paulo, I had the opportunity to visit Consolação Cemetery, one of the historical and tourist attractions in the city of São Paulo. Many famous people who are part of Brazilian history are buried there, so my friend invited me to visit the cemetery.
During the visit, I stopped by the graves of some people I already knew, such as Monteiro Lobato, one of Brazil’s great writers. I had the opportunity to read some of his works, so it was interesting to visit the place where he was buried.
I also visited the grave of the Marquesa de Santos, who had a relationship with Dom Pedro I and donated the land where the cemetery was built. Right at the entrance, there is a map of the cemetery, along with information about several important figures, including writers, engineers, artists, and singers.
During the tour, I visited the graves of several well-known people, such as the writer Mário de Andrade, and took several photos. After our brief visit to the cemetery, we went to Paulista Avenue, which is just a few minutes away.

Durante minha visita ao estado de São Paulo, tive a oportunidade de conhecer o Cemitério da Consolação, um dos pontos turísticos e históricos da cidade de São Paulo. Muitas pessoas famosas que fazem parte da história do Brasil estão enterradas nesse cemitério, por isso, meu amigo me convidou para conhecer o local.
Durante a visita, passei por alguns túmulos de pessoas que eu já conhecia, como o de Monteiro Lobato, um dos grandes escritores brasileiros. Tive a oportunidade de ler algumas de suas obras, então foi interessante conhecer o local onde ele foi enterrado.
Também visitei o túmulo da Marquesa de Santos, que teve um relacionamento com Dom Pedro I e doou o terreno onde o cemitério foi construído. Logo na entrada, há um mapa do cemitério, além de informações sobre diversas personalidades importantes, incluindo escritores, engenheiros, artistas e cantores.
Durante o passeio, visitei vários túmulos de pessoas conhecidas, como o do escritor Mário de Andrade, e tirei diversas fotos. Depois de nossa breve visita ao cemitério, seguimos para a Avenida Paulista, que fica a poucos minutos dali.
