I recently visited the Shopping Estação Museum in Curitiba. It's interesting because it's located inside a shopping center that used to function as a subway station. I must admit that I entered the museum almost by chance, but once I was inside, I was fascinated by all the history that is presented.
Recientemente visité el Museo Shopping Estação en Curitiba, es curioso porque está ubicado dentro de un centro comercial que anteriormente funcionaba como una estación de metro, debo admitir que entré al museo casi por casualidad, pero una vez que estuve dentro, me fascinó toda la historia que se presenta.
The museum has models that show what the place was like in its heyday, as well as materials that were transported on trains and numerous items from the time when the railway service was in operation. Something that really caught my attention was how well documented everything is. It's practically a door to another era. I was briefly able to transport myself back in time by looking at all the photos and relics that are carefully displayed.
El museo cuenta con maquetas que muestran cómo era el lugar en su época de esplendor, así como materiales que se transportaban en los trenes y numerosos artículos de la época en la que funcionaba el servicio ferroviario, algo que me llamó mucho la atención fue lo bien documentado que está todo, es prácticamente una puerta a otra época, de manera breve logré transportarme en el tiempo al observar todas las fotos y reliquias que están cuidadosamente exhibidas.
There were exhibits that I decided to visit a couple of times, as I found them really fascinating. Without a doubt, this museum is a great piece of historical value for the city.
Hubo exhibiciones que decidí visitar un par de veces, ya que me parecieron realmente fascinantes. Sin duda alguna, ese museo es una gran pieza de valor histórico para la ciudad.
I must admit that my visit to the Shopping Estação Museum was much more than just a tour of a place, it was an immersion in history that allowed me to appreciate the evolution of Curitiba and reflect on how the past continues to influence our present identity. I would certainly recommend any visitor to the city to take the time to explore this museum and discover the stories it holds.
Debo admitir que mi visita al Museo Shopping Estação fue mucho más que un simple recorrido por un lugar, fue una inmersión en la historia que me permitió apreciar la evolución de Curitiba y reflexionar sobre cómo el pasado sigue influyendo en nuestra identidad presente, sin duda, recomendaría a cualquier visitante de la ciudad que se tome el tiempo para explorar este museo y descubrir las historias que guarda.
