Descartes was a brilliant man and figures out such an important part of mathematics. Great post, it's been years since I thought about matrices in math!

Hi thebighigg, Descartes had nothing directly to do with matrices, but he laid the mathematical foundations that later made their creation and use possible. Today, matrices are used in structural mechanics, dynamics studies, electronics, and robotics. !PIZZA
