I was there in the 90s a few times, when Saddam Hussein was in his prime.
That's a great coin and I love these sort of momentos we get from people. Memories that we cherish forever.

Thanks, momentos we get from others over the years have much more value, you are right! I've got quite a few coins like that from other places I've travelled as well.
It was okay, have been to alot worse places than that. The history I found fascinating.
The archeological sites would be really cool to see, but beyond that I wouldn't be all that interested in seeing anything else. The history is fascinating and there is so much of it, that's why it's such an interesting place!
