Splinterlands | These 2 Opportunity Reward cards will change the game

What’s up my fellow Splinterlands players!

I hope all of you are doing well and enjoying the day with your loved ones. For those who play splinterlands, I guess all of you are busy experimenting with all these new reward cards and finding which cards suit you and which cards to upgrade first. This new batch of cards is literally changing the way we used to play the game and not to mention new strategies and also being formed along the way. Just like many of you, I also love most of these reward cards and have been upgrading them slowly with the Glint tokens that I earn by playing in the ranked section. Now on the other hand, the clock hasn’t stopped in splinterlands and if we look at the ranked season timer, we can realise that there’s not much time left in our hands as we have already passed halfway through this ongoing season.

Now having another around 6 days in hand, let us fight with our best efforts and reach our goals before the season resets. Now talking about me, in my last post, I said I was playing at D2 and been trying to reach the next tier and gladly, I have entered Diamond I and am currently playing with a trophy rating of 3,460 and another 240 trophies away from reaching my goal of entering the Champion league. Let’s now see if I can reach my goal before the season ends like the last time or fail.

Now moving on, let me come to the main topic of this post and in my last post, I have showcased 2 Opportunity ability monsters from the latest Reward edition with you all and in today’s post, I am going to talk about another 2 awesome opportunity monsters. So if you are interested, let’s jump right in without any further delay.

Broken Earth Thug

The first monster that I want to display in today’s post is BROKEN EARTH THUG. This is a monster card that was introduced in the game with the latest reward card set and this monster looks like a mutant rat from the underground with sharp and gigantic teeth and a brutal looking club in its hand. This monster belongs to the Death element and its attack type is melee. It costs only 3 mana to be used in battles, so you can easily select this card when playing Low mana limit matches or Little League ruleset. It is a common type of card, so you will need a total of 400 BCXs of cards to upgrade this monster to the maximum level.

Now looking at its stats, it comes with a well-protected armour + health combo, possesses decent attack with good speed and also 2 awesome abilities to help you in battles. At its initial level, this monster possesses only 1 melee attack at 2 speed with 3 health and also gets the Opportunity ability with which it can attack the enemy monster with the lowest health. But as you continue to upgrade its level, it becomes more deadly as at max level, it gets 3 melee attack at 4 speed with 2 armour and 5 health and also a new ability called Cripple from level 4 onwards which reduces 1 max health of the enemy card each time you successfully hit it. So for a mere 3 mana cost, I think this monster is truly overpowered and will help you to build stronger sneak /opportunity type lineups.

Dragon Egg Forager

Now moving forward, please allow me to showcase the second monster and as you have already seen in the thumbnail above, I will be talking about DRAGON EGG FORAGER. This monster looks like a crossbreed of Dragon and human and though it has a long and strong tail on its back, it does not have any wings on its back but a bag full of glowing dragon eggs. This newly launched reward monster card belongs to the Dragon element, so you can use this card with any other element cards to make awesome unpredictable combos. It is a rare type card so you will need a total of 115 BCXs of cards to upgrade it to max level. This monster’s attack type is melee and it costs only 5 mana to be used in battles, so you can use it easily when playing medium to large mana limit matches or even in small ones if played rightly.

Now looking at its stats and abilities, it seems like a power attacker to me because of its high attack power and it also has a large health and decent speed and sadly no armour on its body. At the first level, this monster possesses only 2 melee attack at 3 speed with 5 attack and also gets the opportunity ability since its initial level. But as you upgrade this card, at max level it gets an immense 5 melee attack at 4 speed with 7 health and also gets the Scavenger ability from level 3 onwards which will increase its max health by 1 each time a monster dies in that battle. So you can understand how deadly this mobster will become with only its attack power and Opportunity ability and adding scavenger on that, its health will only keep increasing every time a monster dies so the opponent may find it hard to kill down your Dagon Egg Forager.

I hope you liked these 2 opportunity monsters that I talked about above and let me know which one you love more among them. Let me know your thoughts in the comment section below and I will be seeing you all in my next post.

Wish you all good luck on all of your future Splinterlands matches.
