Thanks for your comment. We can say that the limit of a function describes the behavior of a function f(x) when the variable x approaches a certain value x0, even without necessarily reaching it. I think it's a difficult mathematical concept to grasp initially, but once you do, it's really quite simple, while other mathematical concepts remain complex even after you understand them.
