RE: The Chess Queen Made of Gold

At 4k$ it could easily be a bad investment, but it doesn't look like it would, since it's limited and maybe if it's sold out quickly, the price might go up a lot.

I think sometimes a collector wouldn't be losing, especially if they're solely collecting for the sake of the passion and nothing else, but I also think that somehow, making money or knowing you're in profit with your metal also brings a good feeling.

If I had the cash to spare and had no other investment in mind it might be a great investment. Just way outside my means these days. This one could fall into a collector's passion, but with scarcity it could become very valuable. It's one of the prettier coins I've seen in quite some time, my instinct would guess it's a winner. The only thing going against it is Charles on the front... Thanks for the curation!

Yeah, that too. However, it still boils down to the fact that it won't take a lot out of pocket to be able to afford. I agree that it's pretty too, and that was why I took some time to look at it very well.

I would love to have one of these coins despite the fact that the king had one giant nose, and is pretty ugly. I love coins from the 1700's and 1800's
